Come listen and enjoy the music played in the South’s premiere listening room!
Music is a common ground for all kinds of folks and that’s why The Down Home’s “come as you are” atmosphere has truly been a treasured place to so many people. Established in 1976 to provide a listening, intimate setting for a wide range of artists, from Townes Van Zandt to Willie Dixon to Robin and Linda Williams. We've had theater, political rally’s, writers series, poetry slams, all night parties. Come as soon as the doors open and enjoy the ambience of a room surrounded in oak wood. We got a menu of some delicious items so you won’t be hungry while you’re enjoying the great music.
